The Mother's Day celebration continued with a trip to Orlando to pick up my mom. We then drove to Tampa to meet my cousin Jasmin and my aunt Zoila. We ate at a Salvadoran Restaurant (our moms really love going to Salvadoran Restaurants even though that's the type of food they cook everyday, hilarious). After that we went spent the rest of the day at the Tampa Lowry Zoo.
I LOVE giraffes.
On Mother's Day I was back in Tallahassee. Brian grilled some yummy food. I wanted a photo with the kids and envisioned a magical moment. Instead they had the sillies and were in no mood to cooperate. I decided to embrace the moment and know that someday I will miss these times.
Oli and Maddie love to help so they lined up these chairs (a little too close to the grill).
On May 8th, I turned 38 years old! Some friends celebrated with me by taking me out to breakfast. I felt very special and the food was delicious.
