Day Trip to the Gulf Coast

We decided to be adventurous today and drove to the first beach we found on the Gulf Coast. We have a few more days of vacation left before we go back to reality. (Brian starts work on Tues.) For now we'll continue enjoying our free time!

UmmHmm

I see you watchin' me.

2 Months Old

Oli is 2 months old and weighs 9lbs 6oz!!

He is a very happy baby as long as he's fed.

He loves posing for the camera and I'm happy about that!

He usually wears mittens because he scratches himself and pokes his eyes. This is his biggest scratch so far; he made himself cry...

but that didn't stop him from posing :)

He loves his Baby Einstein Gym. Thanks Kokozakis family!!

A Potpourri of Pics - Hawaiian Gear and our New Digs

Now that we're all unpacked, we have time to play again.  Oli is more and more fun every day. He's been doing great with sleeping through the night, waking up every 3-5 hrs and one night he even slept 7 hours! He is more alert and interactive and smiles a lot!

Can you find the little man?

This is our new neighborhood.

We'd love to have you come visit!

Yesterday we went walking in the downtown area where Brian will be working.  We are really enjoying having quality time as a family before he starts his new job in a few weeks.

Turning Point and Moving again...

On Aug. 2nd, 2 days before Oliver turned 6 weeks, we went to our good friend Tara's Baby Shower in Tampa.   We also visited with my family in St. Pete and didn't get home until about 11pm that night.  Oli was busy socializing and getting cuddled all day!  I don't know if it was the exhaustion from the busy day or him turning 6 weeks but something amazing began to happen that day.  He began to sleep like he's never slept before and to no longer cry when we put him down.  Perfect timing! He let us pack and get ready for our move to Tallahassee (2 hrs NW of Gainesville).

Here we are at Tara's shower. It was lots of fun!

Debbie, Mandy and Naphtali were a big help and packed the kitchen for me; true friends!

We moved 9 days ago and we're finishing unpacking and setting up our new home.  More updates and pictures to come!
