A Walk in the Park

On Saturday we went for a long walk at a place called Miccosukee Greenway.  We're really enjoying the Fall weather in Tallahassee. Believe it or not some of the trees have lost their leaves and it's a little colder here than Gainesville. Right now it's 46 deg. and the high will be in the 60s. I would say that's pretty cold for Florida. On this particular day though it started out in the 50s but by the afternoon it was probably in the 80s.

On our walk we reminded ourselves of how blessed we are to have the sweetest little boy and to have such loving relatives and friends.  Being out in nature was so peaceful and beautiful (and free).  For a moment we forgot about our "problems". We are learning to appreciate the simple things and we're trying our best to focus on enjoying the present and to not be so stressed out about the future. (I think we're getting old. ha ha)

4 Months Old-Oliver Laughing

Oliver turned 4 months old today.  The little guy had his second round of vaccination shots, hence the two little band-aids. He weighed in at 14 lbs, 7 ounces and measured 24 inches.  He's becoming more aware by the day.  We love to watch him laugh - so free, so full of joy.   -Brian

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to a pumpkin patch with our Tuesday morning play group. Oli is the youngest in the group and doesn't really play yet but I love getting together with the other moms. Mommies need to play too :)

 

 

Fall Fun Fest

On Saturday our church had a Fall Festival for the kids.  It was the perfect fall day, a little chilly but bright and sunny.    The adults had as much fun as the children :)

The Catheys took the 2 hour trip to Tallahassee and we had a great weekend with them!

Weekend Trip

This past weekend we went to Sea World with my family.  My brother Joel was in town so we were very excited to see him and his fam! We got to see some cool shows and animals!
