Father's Day 2014

Today we celebrated Brian being the best Dad in the world. 

A few days ago, I had this conversation with the kids and I don't want to forget it:

Me to the kids: "Sunday we're going to celebrate Father's Day! We're going to make cards for Daddy and make him feel really special.  Why do you think he's the best daddy in the world?"

Oliver's answer:  "Oh because he cooks really good food, like meat!". 

(Very funny because Brian doesn't cook; he grills and every now and then he grills steak which is one of Oliver's favorite foods. Ha!)

Maddie's answer: "Well, you're the best mommy because you make mac n cheese; but Daddy's the best daddy because he makes everything for us!" 

(Another hilarious statement!  Hello - who stays at home, does everything for them, and also cooks almost every meal???  Me!)
